Join Us for the Dutch-Irish Beer Collabs Whiskey Release
Come and witness the release of the first Dutch-Irish Beer Collabs Whiskey, featuring Clonakilty Whiskey. This whiskey was finished in a Heaven Hill barrel. The barrel was previously used by De Hemel Brewery to age their Nieuw Ligt Barley Wine. How heavenly is that?
Mark your calendar for April 26th and visit De Hemel Brewery for the release of the Clonakilty – Brouwerij de Hemel bottling. Taste this exquisite Single Malt Single Cask @ Cask Strength along with the beer that aged in the same barrel. It’s a unique experience. You won’t want to miss this, especially if you’re a Clonakilty Whiskey enthusiast.
Enjoy this Clonakilty Whiskey in an authentic túath glass while the brewer and importer share fitting anecdotes. They will also provide in-depth information about the cooperation and creation of these ‘Collabs’. You’ll be the first in line to purchase this exclusive bottling along with the beer and a fitting whiskey glass.
This Clonakilty – De Hemel bottling is limited to 274 bottles. It is part of a twin-bottling from a pair of Dutch barrels. Whisky Center supplied these barrels simultaneously. Then Clonakilty Distillery in Ireland filled and bottled them. This collaboration showcases the best of both worlds in the form of Clonakilty Whiskey.
At the end of April, don’t miss the presentation of the Clonakilty – Brewery Kees beer bottling in Middelburg. This bottling features an Imperial Stout, Single Malt Single Cask @ Cask Strength, with only 261 bottles available. Starting May 1st, this one-off twin-bottling will be available in select Dutch liquor stores, highlighting the excellence of Clonakilty Whiskey.
The ticket price for this event is €10,- and includes a tasting of the Whiskey Collab & Nieuw Ligt Heaven Hill Cask. Plus, you can enjoy one beer, soda, or whiskey.
