PAX44 is inspired by a remarkable act of compassion during Operation Market Garden in September 1944. In a modest home in Oosterbeek, British paratroopers and German engineers set aside the conflict for a brief, powerful moment of unity. Calling a truce—a "pax"—they exchanged whiskey and chocolate instead of fighting. Each edition of PAX44 pays tribute to that unforgettable moment with its unique blend of high-quality spirits.
