PAX44: Honoring a Moment of Humanity

PAX44 celebrates a simple moment of humanity shared between British paratroopers and German engineers during Operation Market Garden in September 1944. Trapped in a house in Oosterbeek, the soldiers called a pax (truce) and exchanged whiskey and chocolate instead of fighting. The various PAX44 editions symbolize this moment with a variety of spirits.
