Red Earl Irish Whiskey is a unique blend crafted by Kinsale Spirit Company. This whiskey is a combination of ex-bourbon-barrelled grain Irish whiskey and ex-sherry triple distilled malt. It is matured for 45 months and then spends an additional minimum period of 4 months in ex-Rioja casks. The Rioja casks impart a distinctive flavor profile, making this whiskey stand out.
Production:
The whiskey is aged for 45 months in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks before being finished in ex-Rioja casks for an additional 4 months. This unique aging process adds layers of complexity and flavor to the whiskey.
Inspiration:
Red Earl Irish Whiskey is inspired by Red Hugh O’Donnell, a legendary Irish chieftain known for his bravery and leadership. The whiskey pays homage to his legacy and the rich history of Ireland.

Description
Kinsale Spirit Red Earl Irish Whisky tasting notes:
- Nose: Subtle hints of cherry, strawberry, rose petal and citrus, layered on top of marzipan, almond and oak notes. Vibrant fruity notes on both the nose and palate.
- Colour: The Rioja wine cask imparts a colour reminiscent of a fine Rose wine.
- Taste: Taste delivers satisfying blends of toffee, vanilla and toasted almonds. These are complemented by delightful notes of cinnamon and clove, typical of spicy riojas.
- Finish: This whiskey has a medium bodied mouthfeel that ends in a long, warm and moreish finish.
