Spencer Collings Mannochmore 2011 Muscat Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Warm butterscotch, sweet malt, and gentle oak with a touch of fortified fruit. A sensation of freshness paired with autumn fruits.
- Palate: Begins with sweet malt, followed by a lively spirit. An oily texture with rich cream or pastry notes. Full-bodied and textured. Flavors of honey and sweet oak persist, offering good length and a lingering sweetness from the malt. Mid-palate, a subtle note of new oak emerges. Towards the finish, there are hints of drying oak tannins. The balance and integration are commendable.
- Finish: Exceptional length and presence, remaining noticeable for an extended period.
