PAX44 

Pax44 honours a simple moment of humanity shared between a group of British paratroopers and a patrol of German engineers as they retreated from the bridge at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden in September 1944.

The paras were trapped but Instead of a deadly battle the soldiers called a Pax, a moment of truce. This allowed them to share whiskey & cognac passed down on a rope by the British while chocolate rations were collected and sent back up by the Germans.

The various PAX44 editions symbolize this moment with a variety of spirits.
