Tropical Old Fashioned

Ingredients

• 6 cl J.J. Corry Hanson Irish Whiskey
• 2 cl pineapple syrup (or 1 cl pineapple syrup + 1 cl coconut syrup)
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters (or tropical bitters)
• One large ice cube
• Garnish: grilled or dried pineapple piece and a lime twist

Method

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Add the whiskey, pineapple syrup, and bitters.
3. Stir for 20 seconds with a bar spoon until well chilled and slightly diluted.
4. Strain into an old fashioned glass over the large ice cube.
5. Garnish with a pineapple piece and express a lime twist over the drink.
