PAX44 Liberator — Den Bosch Edition is a tribute to the “Brothers in Arms” warrior code formed in 1944 between the Welsh and Dutch in the fight for liberation and freedom with a bold, commemorative blended whisky crafted for depth of aromas and tasteful dignity. A limited release of only 300 hand filled bottles, this edition blends Welsh single malt and blended grain with a Dutch cask strength blended grain, marrying heritage whisky character with the traditional Dutch aromatic intensity. Port wine essence and vanillin bond traces of cocoa extract to the aromas creating a flavour that echoes courage, camaraderie and the human ritual of sharing whisky and chocolate

Tasting notes – PAX44 Liberator Den Bosch Edition:

Colour: deep amber with copper highlights.
Nose: warm malted sweetness meets dried cocoa and subtle port-laced fruit; light toasted oak and an earthy undercurrent.
Palate: rounded and generous; Welsh malt sweetness and fresh Dutch grain give way to elegant smoke, licorice and warm baking spices, tied together by vanillin and cocoa distillate.
Finish: refined and lingering; restrained power with a soft smoky echo and a final cocoa sweetness.
