J.J. Corry Hanson Whiskey is a unique blended grain Irish whiskey. It is matured in bourbon and American craft whiskey casks sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee, and New York. This whiskey is named after J.J. Corry’s son-in-law, who was known as “The Gauger Hanson” due to his role as a revenue inspector in the early 1900s.
The Hanson is known for its rich and deep notes of vanilla fudge and toasted coconut, with top notes of griddled pineapple and lime. On the palate, it offers flavors of green apples, toasted coconut, rye grass, and lemongrass. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is praised for its creamy vanilla, sweet fruit, and subtle spice.

Nose: Rich and deep notes of vanilla fudge and toasted coconut indicate the bourbon influence. Top notes of grilled pineapple and thyme add a fresh zing.
Palate: The palate starts lively with bright green apples and toasted coconut carrying over from the nose. The influence of fresh oak is evident.
Finish: The finish is medium-length, with lingering acidity and a slightly drying sensation, reminiscent of cooking apples. There is also a touch of spice and a hint of oiliness.
