Crafted by an independent Irish Whiskey Bonder, this expression boasts a refined and sweet character, abundant with notes of citrus and vanilla, and enriched with the warm spices of nutmeg and clove, all rounded off with the sweetness of honey. The Gael is a versatile companion to seafood, a standalone pleasure, or a decadent pairing with chocolate for a post-dinner treat, encapsulating the true spirit of Cooraclare.

Whisky Center’s tasting notes for J.J. Corry The Gael Blended Irish Whiskey:
Nose: A burst of Irish Whiskey’s hallmark orchard fruits, with a nuance of ripe red apple and a predominance of white peaches and apricots. Accompanied by floral notes and hints of freshly mown grass and Douglas Fir, complementing the stone fruits.
Palate: The taste of orange hard candy evolves into candied orange peel, leading to the flavors of baked stone fruits: apricot frangipane tart and peach cobbler.
Finish: A lingering taste of candied orange and marmalade.
