The Masthouse Single Malt Whisky from Copper Rivet Distillery offers a delightful tasting experience:
- Nose: You’ll notice apple and peachy fruit aromas, complemented by cereal notes like malt and oats. There’s also a hint of vanilla, cinnamon, marzipan, and a lift of lemon peel.
- Palate: The whisky has a creamy texture with a full cereal flavor. You’ll taste some peppery alcohol, along with porridge, chocolate digestive biscuits, and that citrus peel note again.
- Finish: The finish is smooth and long, with strong vanilla notes, oatcakes, and custard.
Overall, it’s a young whisky but packed with flavor, offering a smooth and enjoyable drinking experience.
