Ryggia “Almost There”: The Bruges Whisky Company maintains limited availability, dispatching from April 10th, 2022. In their latest release, as well as the forthcoming whisky release of the 32-month-old New Make, they have kept their prices unchanged despite the rising costs, which are well known. They aim to enhance the quality of life by offering their single malt at a fair price—a sentiment that is easy to support. Their newest release, “Almost There,” is 32 months old, boasts a cask strength of 59.7%, and has been matured in two of their self-made casks, a practice they are increasingly adopting to ensure a greater variety of flavors.

Description
Ryggia “Almost There” tasting notes from Whisky Center:
- Nose: Sweet bananas, tropical fruits, mocha, coffee, and red fruits.
- Palate: A dominant mocha flavor accompanied by tropical fruits, caramel candies, maple syrup, and wood, with subtle notes of red fruit and coffee. The high ABV causes a tingling sensation on the tongue and lips as the single malt unfolds.
- Finish: The flavors of mocha and coffee persist for at least a minute, offering a complexity and dominance that surpass our previous releases.
