This whisky is part of the Firkin Whisky Co.’s collection and is known for its distinctive maturation process. The whisky is aged in a combination of Oloroso and Amontillado sherry casks, which impart rich and complex flavors.

Production:

The whisky is distilled at Tullibardine and initially matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel. It is then transferred to custom-made double oak casks seasoned with both Oloroso and Amontillado sherries. This unique combination of casks creates a creamy, nutty, and rich profile with elements of dried fruit.

Limited Edition:

Firkin 49 is a single cask, single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48.9% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and retains its natural color, ensuring an authentic and pure whisky experience.
