The Distillery
Located in West-Flanders, the Bruges Whisky Company (BWC) takes its time in production, valuing ease as a crucial component of a premium product. BWC produces Single Malt, aged in small to medium-sized first-fill Bourbon barrels, and finishes in small first-fill barrels for the finest flavor. Alongside the Cask Strength Rogia, BWC offers the Ryggia range, also available in Cask Strength. In 2021, BWC began crafting fine beers.
Ryggia
Derived from old Norse meaning ‘wild untamed beast,’ Ryggia is one of the names that inspired the name Bruges. It is matured in select first-fill barrels, uncut, to forge an extraordinary, unique dram with a rich and characterful essence emblematic of Ryggia.
Before
Thibaut, Peter, and their expanding team have pre-released several initial batches of new make, such as the ‘Experiment’ series (A – D) of Ryggia. In addition, they have launched various Rogia batches. These spirits are all inspired by and a testament to Flemish Stubbornness and Hard Work.
