J.J. Corry’S
Whiskey Sour
Ingredients
- 6 cl J.J. Corry Hanson Irish Whiskey
- 3 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cl simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water)
- Optional: 1 egg white for a silky foam
- Ice cubes
- Garnish: cocktail cherry and a thin lemon twist
Method
- Add all ingredients (including egg white if using) to a shaker without ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds (dry shake).
- Add ice and shake again for 10–15 seconds until the shaker feels cold.
- Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish with a cocktail cherry and a lemon twist.
