Tasting Notes – Blacks Black Smoke Heavy Peated Whiskey:
- Nose: Subtle embers of charred oak, warm honeyed vanilla and whispers of sea salt drifting through dense peat smoke.
- Palate: Full-bodied waves of smouldering peat, spiced caramel and cocoa-dust undertones, wrapped in a plush vanilla-oak embrace.
- Finish: A lingering, smoky warmth with gentle peppery spice and a trace of toasted marshmallow sweetness.
Serving Tips
- Serve neat at 18–20 °C in a tulip-shaped whisky glass to concentrate the aromatic smoke.
- Add a single, pure water drop to unlock hidden layers of vanilla and honeyed oak.
- Pair with smoked salmon, aged cheddar or rich dark chocolate to heighten the peated intensity.
- For a signature cocktail, stir 50 ml with a dash of orange bitters and a sugar cube for a smoky Old Fashioned twist.
