Dockyard Damson Gin has a rich history, tracing back to Roman times when damsons were first brought to Britain. Historical accounts indicate they were cultivated near Medway and traded by a merchant in Strood, a mere 5 miles from our distillery. This deep-rooted connection inspired Copper Rivet Distillery to craft their own Damson Gin.
