This whisky is part of the Firkin Whisky Co.’s collection and is known for its distinctive maturation process. The whisky is aged in custom-made double oak casks, seasoned with Madeira, a sweet wine from Portugal. This combination imparts rich and complex flavors to the whisky.
The whisky is distilled at Benrinnes and initially matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel. It is then transferred to custom-made double oak casks seasoned with Madeira. This unique combination of casks creates a creamy, nutty, and rich profile with elements of dried fruit.
Firkin Ten is a single cask, single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48.9% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and retains its natural color, ensuring an authentic and pure whisky experience.
