Their latest release is a New Make spirit with a Non-Age Statement, indicating it has not yet aged into whisky. Peathia’s dedication to using Belgian barley underscores the local essence of their product. Their distinctive approach to exclusively crafting peated whisky distinguishes them within the industry.

Peathia Tasting Notes from Whiskey Center:
- Nose: Hints of oak, wood fire, and a sweet maple syrup note.
- Palate: The peat is subtle initially, giving way to a sour note, but predominantly a sweet brown sugar presence, with hints of chocolate. There’s a suggestion of coffee and a faint barley note, akin to a fresh triple. The alcohol is noticeable but becomes smooth after the initial sip.
- Finish: A smoky note emerges, accompanied by a lasting warmth, and the flavor persists with an added intensity.
